Services for clients

  • Individual therapy

Whether you chose to meet via telehealth from the comfort of your home, or come into the office to a more “traditional” setting, therapy can provide a space for you to be heard, problem solve, learn and practice coping skills, and process difficult emotions. Sessions are approximately 50 minutes long. Wehave therapists available who work wih children (ages 8+), teens, and adults of all ages.

  • Couples Counseling

The quality of interpersonal relationships impacts life satisfaction. We offer a space for you and your partner to discuss complexities and challenges. Some of our therapists concentrated in marriage and family therapy while getting their advanced degree and have a special interest in supporting couples in working through communication style and/or challenges, conflict resolution, and navigating difficult life/family experiences. Sessions are 60 minutes long. The preferred setting for couple’s counseling is in the office, but the service is offered via telehealth as well.

  • Group therapy

Group therapy is a powerful tool that, in our opinion, is under-represented in the outpatient mental health options available. One of our passions is offering groups that provide a unique way to deal with issues such as body image, stress management, self-esteem, and parenting. As the wise Irvin Yalom wrote in The Theory and Practice of Group Psychotherapy, “There is no human deed or thought that lies fully outside the experience of other people.” Please see “Groups” page for current and upcoming offerings.

  • Eating Disorder evaluations

“Do I even have an eating disorder?” “Are the thoughts I am having and my eating habits actually a problem?” These questions are not uncommon for those who struggle with disordered eating, eating disorders, or for those whose loved ones or providers are concerned about their relationship with weight, food, or body image. Some of our providers have extensive experience in diagnosing eating disorders and providing recommendations on treatment for both adolescents and adults (folx ages 11 and up). We offer a 90 minute diagnostic evaluation and referral recommendations to give you and/or your providers clarity and support with a path forward.

  • FBT for Adolescents

Family Based Treatment (FBT) is an evidenced based manualized treatment for adolescent eating disorders. It is especially effective for individuals who need weight restoration as part of their recovery journey. If your child has an eating disorder and you are interested in working with a therapist to continue (or start) FBT, please contact us about availability and to discuss whether we would be a good fit for your family.

  • EMDR

Currently, we are offering adjunctive Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). If you already have an outpatient therapist and are seeking to add EMDR, please contact us.

Services for providers

  • maternity leave coverage

Some of our providers know from firsthand experience how challenging it can be to find coverage for a leave of absence. Let us help! We would be happy to discuss covering for your cases while you are on leave.

  • eating disorder 101 training

Eating disorders are widely misunderstood. The difficult reality is that the number of clients coming into our offices (virtually or otherwise) are rising. If you have a group practice or want to get together with a few other clinicians to learn more about eating disorders, differential diagnosis, and best practices for treatment, we would be honored to be part of this learning experience. Please inquire about availability and cost.
